Hi class, how is it going? I hope everything's right and you can enjoy the weekend and rest and disconnect and so on... Last class you looked a bit tired.
On Monday we finished the lesson we have been working with these weeks having a look to phrasal verbs with three parts
- catch up with
- get away with
- put in for
- come up with
- cut down on
- look up to
- look forward to
- put up with
- make up for
We completed activities, made some listening and talked, using these verbs in questions like these:
- Is there anything you are really looking forward to doing over the next few days?
- Is there anything you are trying to cut down on at the moment?
- Is there anyone that you really look up to?
Then continued with our chat with the listening section related this time to radio phone-in programmes.
Finally on Wed we introduced our new topic EXPLORE. In the next few weeks we will work with voc related to adventure trips, exploring and things like that; we will revise Present Perfect Simple and Continuous and adjectives with -ed and -ing endings... to start with.
